If you suffer from TMJ Pain, our professional and experienced team is here to provide immediate relief.
TMJ is the acronym for temporomandibular joint. This is the joint that connects your lower jaw to your skull. If you place your fingers just in front of your ears and open your mouth, you’ll feel the TMJ on each side of your head. The TMJ allows you to move your jaw up and down and side to side, so you can talk, chew, and yawn. You have TMJ on both sides of your head, but pain in only one joint is more common. When both joints are involved, it’s called bilateral TMJ disorder. However, any type of problem with either joint is commonly referred to as TMJ.
